I get it, not many people use the site, but I'm posting this here as a more organized way for leaders and officers to discus where Dynamis is going. Anyone, however, can pitch in with comments and suggestions if they're so inclined~

After another Garuda Ex attempt, I spoke with Sed, Athros and Silvanoshi, and it was noted that the constant need to fish for help outside our FC is hindering our progress. It would be nice to be able to have Dynamis only full parties that clear (and farm) content such as Ex modes and Coil 1-5, steadily making their way into the tougher 2.2 events with good gear.

It is understood that people are busy and schedules are tough, so this isn't a knock on anyone, but more consistent participation will lead to quicker learning, better clear times and FC bonding (!) - basically, a more rewarding experience for all of us. If we can't achieve this with the members we have now, then we should recruit more lv50s with the desire to get their hands dirty, and the ability to commit to FC runs.

RECRUITMENT!

I've seen Rook recruiting using /shout from time to time, though I forget the essence of the message. I think we're in need of not only newer players, but also people who are already 50, and searching for end game progression.

I don't think any of us want a super hardcore regime, none of us are of the elitist ilk, and when it all comes down to it, we're still in the process of learning how to beat end game content and have it on farm. No one has to be afraid of us kicking them or giving up on them if they're new to something, or not fantastic at it.

If the above message can be conveyed in a nice succinct /shout, I'm sure we'll pick up a few good and eager hands.

Other ways to recruit:

Party Finder "Interviews"

Set up a party finder party with a description of what we're looking for, and invite like-minded people. The cool thing about this is, if we're hurting for specific roles, we can allow only those jobs to attend certain interviews.

Enough traffic passes through the forums that it may be worth throwing our name into the hat.

ORGANIZATION AND SCHEDULING

Forming full parties and schedules. I'm not exactly full of ideas for this, but one thing that comes to mind is:

Event Linkshells

Based on day of the week, time of day or some other criteria, members are split into Dynamis linkshells where they can sort out their "ideal" schedules amongst themselves.

Already posted on the Behemoth forums, if you guys would try and keep it bumped. I feel strange bumping my own topic without others keeping it up as well.

And just a addendum to that original post. We've gone from 120-130 members down to 65. While this isn't necessarily a bad thing, I would rather keep our active members as high as possible. Right now we have around 25 people who are actively participating in some form of end game or who are willing to participate from time to time, that's not near enough.

We need everyone to be on the look out for new members, or at least attempting to recruit in some way, otherwise we're going to stay in the negative recruitment numbers, and eventually fade away.

Not to mention that the more members we have the faster we'll be able to purchase land/housing.

So please take the advice Kos laid out above and help us recruit. It's going to make a huge difference down the line.
